Ep 25: Entrepreneurship and Communications – Insights from a Digital Nomad, with Jamie Meyer

In this episode, I interview Jamie Meyer, business communication and leadership coach, and more importantly an entrepreneur and digital nomad.

Listen in as we discuss the concepts of whether entrepreneurs are born or made; risk-taking; people and passion. We also talk about imposter syndrome; success and failure; finding meaningful investors; delivering bad news to investors; developing leadership skills; problem-solving; and communications.

About Jamie Meyer:

For 13 Years, I consulted with and ran Companies across a variety of interesting and diverse Markets. I believe Business has become a landscape of unfulfilled opportunities. People are at the mercy of compromise and sacrifice for any kind of Success. That the expectation of Success comes at the cost of our Health, Family, and Life. It is now a lacklustre attempt of investing in what really matters. Us as People. In my time, Society has sadly experienced a loss of trust in Business and it leaders.

I am not sure whether I chose Business, or it chose me. Either way, it has the ability to contribute to Society in a more tangible way than any other entity. I recognised an opportunity to design lasting Value for People, Companies, and Stakeholders alike. While enriching Success.

Our World needs a richer philosophy. An energised narrative in comparison to the one that we have been taught.
Business does not have to be a lifeless landscape.
Money can be a means not an end and will flow freely. When we aren’t strangling it, ourselves or one another.
We can achieve Success all while living our best life.

I know it’s an unusual perspective, but we can thrive on every level and cultivate responsibility for our own stability, whiling reaching our ultimate Success.

With my expertise and sense of adventure, I finally stepped out of the small game. And Nine Carat Business Consulting was Founded. My urge to mine the gold of everyone and everything, gives me the ability to collapse the space between where you are and where you want to be.

What I know is this, if you choose to invest in something, make it worth it and make it remarkable.

And so began my extraordinary journey
